Why does my pet need a routine health check?
Routine annual health checks are vital to ensure that any problems are detected and dealt with promptly, because unfortunately your pets can’t tell us when there is a problem developing! More frequent checks may be recommended depending on individual circumstances.
A full health check will routinely be performed as part of your pet's primary vaccination course and at subsequent booster vaccination appointments. Health checks are also available on request. Examination will usually include assessment of the eyes, ears, mouth and coat. Your pet's heart and respiratory system can be listened to, and the abdomen can be palpated.
