At Oakhill and Abbey Veterinary Centres we believe that a proactive, preventative approach to your pet's healthcare is far better than waiting until your pet is vunerable, ill or suffering to put things right. We want to make responsible pet ownership simple and affordable, which is why we have designed these Pet Health Plans.
We have teamed up with The Practice Business, who will collect your Direct Debits on our behalf and take care of the administration of the plans. This frees us up to concentrate on looking after your pets.
Oakhill and Abbey Veterinary Centres Pet Health Plans for cats and dogs give you:
- A new, easy and cost-effective way to spread the cost of your pet's essential healthcare, including vaccinations, flea, worm and parasite treatments;
- Regular, structured 10 Point Health Checks, preventative treatments and advice;
- Access to exclusive discounted prices on purchases, services and treatments from your practice;
- A Health Check Record Book to allow you and your vet to monitor and record your pet's health;
- Plans to suit your pet, whatever its age or breed;
- A health plan that works well on its own or alongside pet insurance;
- The chance to diagnose and manage earlier any health issues your pet may develop;
- Reassurance that you are providing the best care for your pet throughout its life.

Dog and Cat Health Plans (Any age)
- Annual Vaccinations or Boosters*
- 2nd part of initial vaccination course (if needed)
- Year round flea, worm and parasite treatment as appropriate
- 10 point health check every 6 months
- Pet Health Check record book
- Additional visits to the practice for Nurse Health Checks
- Microchipping
- Nail Clipping
- Two editions of Pet Focus Magazine
- 10% OFF Neutering
- 10% OFF any dental procedures at the practice
- 10% OFF any other surgical procedures
- 10% OFF all food and accessories bought from the practice
*Vaccinations included: Dogs: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Kennel Cough. Cats: Feline Leaukemia, Enteritis, Herpes, Feline Influenza

Its simple to join
- Come into the practice during our opening hours and speak to any member of the practice team who will complete a short form with you.
- Or call the Pet Health Plans Team on 0800 169 9958 and join up over the phone. Call anytime Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 6pm or Friday 8.30am - 5pm.
Notes:
- There is a discount of 5% on your total monthly fee if you have more than one pet on a Health Plan
- There is a joining fee of £10 per owner (for life) plus a pet joining fee of £5 per animal. These fees will be collected with the first payment.
- If you cancel at any time other than on an anniversary of joining the plan, you will be required to pay the practice either the outstanding amount for treatment received, or the monthly payments due until the anniversary of the your plan, whichever is lower.
- No refunds are payable for any months paid before a pet's death except at the discretion of the practice.
- If you choose to pay annually, the first payment will be for the months up to and including March and thereafter payment will be requested each April for the next 12 months. The 5% discount for more than one pet is not applicable to annual payers.
